Seven oversized dahlias are now blooming on the corner of Colombo and Lichfield Streets.

Designers Andrew Veitch and Bevan Whiting created the seven six metre tall art works lit with pink and purple LED lights. These pieces have been crafted from recycled and sustainably sourced materials.

Brought to the city by the Christchurch City Council’s Enliven Places Programme, which supports temporary place-making projects to create attractive, fun and interesting spaces in the city centre.
