The Repertory Theatre in Kilmore Street was badly damaged by recent earthquakes, the Repertory Theatre Company has been operating from the Elmwood Auditorium at 31 Aikmans Road, Merivale. For updates check the website. From humble beginnings in 1928, The Repertory Theatre is somewhat of a Christchurch Institution. A non-profit incorporated society Repertory is run by volunteers who love entertaining and being involved in a friendly environment who run an average of five productions each year.
