Hornby Primary is a state co-educational contributing school catering for children in Years 1-6 children. We are situated in the western Christchurch suburb of Hornby. At the end of Year 6, the majority of our pupils go to Branston Intermediate for Years 7-8. Hornby Primary School was established in 1885 and now maintains a roll of approximately 160-170 pupils. The school is listed as decile 2 and generally draws children from the suburbs of Hei Hei, Broomfield and Islington.
