Chesterfields Community Garden

This Christchurch City Council reserve is 30m x 50m. The park is named after a German Alsatian, that belonged to the previous owner of the land, who had three legs (due to cancer) as it was indeed, “Chester’s fields”.

The park is a much loved community space and is cared for by the community and the Council.
