Nearby there is the beach, Brooklands lagoon, an animal/bird park, Bottle Lake Forest Park, and many walkways.  Some activities available in the area include mountain biking, fishing, water skiing, bird watching, swimming, surfing, mini golf, tennis, kayaking, sailing and Adrenalin Forest in Seafield Park.

There is an on-site dairy, and just a 20 minute drive from the city and airport.
