Cathedral Square, Central City
This Malaysian chef cooks noodles locally called 'Char Kuey Teow' (stir-fried broad rice noodles) - a national favourite in Singapore and Malaysia. The noodles are a combination of wheat noodles and rice noodles, which provides a different texture from the original and taste even better. No mass preparation, every single dish is cooked individually which provides full wok-fried flavour.
You will find them in markets throughout the city; Friday in Cathedral Square (from 11am), Saturday in New Brighton (10am-2pm) & Sunday Riccarton Market Racecourse (9am-2pm).
