Street Art - 208 St Asaph Street
208 St Asaph Street. Central City
"Cassandra’s Dream" is a mural brought to the city by the Christchurch City Council's Enliven Places Programme and designed/installed by six Yoobee design students.
Yoobee design students Caitlin Booth, Sarah Dickie, Caleb Harris, Victoria Marshall, Kayla Salt, and Phillipa Suckling painted the large mural on a St Asaph St wall opposite The Welder health and wellness hub.
It depicts a bright, new Christchurch as seen through the eyes of a local explorer. The design, set against a bold, blue background, depicts a woman’s face in profile and a cityscape highlighting the mix of activities and features in the Central City South area, including food, innovation and creativity, heritage buildings and transport.
