Blue Cradle brought together community organisations, artists, volunteers and sponsors to make the City a lasting place for ocean awareness and stewardship.

Every other breath we take comes from the ocean. Covering 71% of the surface of our planet, the ocean is vast, mostly unexplored and unknown.  We need to be responsible stewards of the ocean. Our fate depends on a healthy, functioning ocean. Hence the name of the work; "The ocean is in our hands".
